君子三畏理實然 天命大人聖者言 反是小人行為異 乖離世道危難安

知畏者吉 ❃ 孔子認為一個有修養的人，有三種要畏懼而不敢違背的事。一是天命;二是大人;三是聖人之言。所謂天命，可說是時代的潮流。如違背了潮流，必然會被淘汰。所謂大人，是賢明的領袖。如違背了賢明的領袖，必陷於災難的深淵。所謂聖人之言，是哲人學者的言論。足以指引人生走向正確的道途。如無此三畏，則危險萬狀。 ❃ 行為檢點，能立事功。
